Description
ARMORPATCH 200 is a two component, water resistant corrosion inhibiting, polymer modified shrinkage compensated, rapid setting, high strength mortar specially formulated for structural concrete repairs in vertical and horizontal surfaces. ARMORPATCH 200 has impressive water repellent and waterproofing properties and therefore suitable for areas requiring waterproofing.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
ARMORPATCH 200 can be used for all structural concrete repairs such as:
- Interior and exterior concrete surfaces
- Repair of horizontal and vertical surfaces
- Repair concrete sidewalks, concrete spalling
- Parking lots and bridge decks
- Fast setting and curing, can be put to use in few hours ( depending on temperature)
- Industrial floors
ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS
- Water repellent and waterproof
- A Recommended for areas requiring moisture remediation
- Aesthetically nice self leveling and smooth finish
- Fiber reinforced to eliminate crack and increase strength
- Good corrosion Inhibition property, therefore protect reinforcements
- Minimal shrinkage and outstanding resistance to crack
- Excellent bond strength
- High abrasion resistance
SURFACE PREPARATION
Prepare concrete substrate in accordance with International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) Technical Guideline. Remove all unsound concrete and provide a profiled, porous surface. Substrate must be structurally sound, dust-free, and free of grease, oil, dirt, curing compounds, release agents, or any other surface or penetrated contaminants that will adversely affect bond. Pressure wash the surface with a commercial pressure washer (3000 psi, 4 GPM) (21MPa, 0.25 L/s) and allow to fully dry before application
PRIMING: in most instances priming will not be needed but for vertical surfaces and very porous concrete Apply one coat of ARMORPRIME 400 acrylic primer to allow for good bonding and adhesive purpose.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTION
MIXING : Pour 3.3 to 3.8 litres of water into a clean plastic or metal bucket , pour 70% of ARMORPATCH 200 into the clean bucket of water, then mix with a power mixer at 400 RPM, after two minutes of mixing pour the rest of the material and mix until full homogeneity is achieved
