Product Description
ARMORSEAL 200 is a liquid-applied, one component bitumen membrane, for waterproofing with excellent elasticity.
ARMORSEAL 200 is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic resins, and is extended with chemically polymerized virgin bitumen, which results in excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal and natural element resistance properties.

ARMORSEAL 200 can be used for the waterproofing of concrete, tiles and metal surfaces such as:
- Roof
- Terraces and Balconies
- foundation
- Retaining walls
- Wet areas in bathrooms under tile
ARMORSEAL 200 covers 30-40 sqm. ARMORSIL recommends application in 2 -3 coats.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Adequate and detailed surface preparation is essential for durability of product after installation. Before application surface must be clean, dry and without contamination. The compressive strength of substrate must be at least 25MPa and cohesive bond strength must not be less than 1.5MPa. All loose concrete, chirpings and dust should be removed, and uneven surface smoothened with the aid of grinding machine, the moisture content must be less than 5% Concrete cracks should be well cleaned and filled with ARMORLATEX. Areas will large cracks must be paid special attention.
APPLICATION OF TOPCOAT
Stir well for at least 2-3 min. ARMORSEAL 200 should be applied to the surface with roller or brush, until the entire surface is covered. After 8-24 hours, another layer of ARMORSEAL 200 should be applied. For demanding applications, apply a third layer of the ARMORSEAL 200. If the ARMORSEAL 200 is to be covered with ceramic tiles, fully saturate with oven- dry silica sand (corn-size 0.4-0.8mm) the last layer while still wet. This saturation will create an adhesion bridge to the tile adhesive that will follow.
Please ensure that hand gloves and goggles are worn during installation. ARMORSEAL 200 contains isocynates, therefore apply in ventilated areas and away from flames. It is only important that during application and after application that standard safety procedure when handling all chemicals. Please consult current MSDS for product. For Professional Use only.
All products should be stored in original packaging at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C. Protect products from all sources of heat, moisture, frost and direct sunlight. When opened product should be consumed immediately unless bucket can be sealed back without allowance for air. Shelf life for all products is 12 months maximum. Armorseal 200 is packed in 20kg pail.
