ARMORSEAL 700
LIQUID ALIPHATIC AND WEATHER RESISTANT POLYURETHANE WATERPROOFING TOPCOAT
Product Description
ARMORSEAL 700 a is one component, UV-stable aliphatic liquid membrane used as a topcoat for ARMORSEAL 250 polyurethane waterproofing.
It increases the wear and abrasion resistance of treated surface and recommended for areas used for pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Cures with the humidity in the atmosphere. It comes in different colour such as transparent grey, blue and green.
- Excellent UV
- Being aliphatic, it does not dis-colour when exposed to
- Simple application (roller or airless spray).
- When applied forms seamless membrane without joints.
- Provides water vapor permeability, so the surface can

Substrate pre-treatment The coating to which ARMORSEAL 700 is applied should be clean and dry and free from oil and grease and any other substances which may impair adhesion. Application should take place within the re-coat intervals of the coating to which it is to be applied.
ARMORSEAL 700 is a single component material. Prior to application, the temperature of the material should be in the range of 15–25°C. Some settling of the pigments may occur on standing. ARMORSEAL 700 should, therefore, be well stirred before use. ARMORSEAL 700 should be spread evenly with a squeegee followed by back rolling with a short hair roller.
The curing time of the material is influenced by the humidity and the ambient and substrate temperatures. At low humidity and low temperatures, the chemical reaction is slowed down; this lengthens the curing time and the recoating intervals. At high humidity and high temperatures the chemical reaction is accelerated thus the time frames mentioned above are shortened accordingly.
Following application, the material should be protected from direct contact with water for approx. 12hours. The temperature of the substrate must be at least 3ºC above the dew point both during the application and for at least 5 hours after the application (at 15°C).
The product must not be applied when the temperature is below +5°C or above 35 °C. Do not mix solvents, sand or other products that could affect the products properties must not be added. High humidity during hardening can affect final appearance, specially gloss.
ARMORSEAL 700 can be broadcasted with dry silica sand to provide a hard wearing, slip resistant finish.
0,5 -1,0 kg/m2 applied two or three layers. This coverage is based on application by roller onto a smooth surface in optimum conditions.
Factors like surface porosity, temperature and application method can alter consumption.
Preparing Surface
Clean the surface using a high pressure washer, and remove oil, grease and wax contaminants, cement laitance, loose particles, mould release agents must be removed. Fill surface irregularities with the necessary product. Pour ARMORSEAL 700 onto the primed or waterproofed surface and apply in one or two coats.
Application Notes of Finish:
Usage: ARMORSEAL 700 should be used up at one opening, failure to seal opened cans properly will lead to curing of unused material. Storage: Seal the can tightly and store in a cool, well-ventilated place. Shelf life is 12 months and ARMORSEAL 700 is packed in 4kg and 25kg containers.
